Luonkos creates innovative natural cosmetics in Naantali, Finland. All the products are handmade with love and care. The mission of the company is to free women from all the plastic bottles and use of bad chemicals. Miia Leino, Jonna Vesterinen, and Piritta Fors founded Luonkos, the value-based start-up to disrupt the skincare routines – to make them simpler and more ecological. Women are using harmful products that make their skin suffer and unbalanced. It is crazy what ingredients are put into plastic bottles with water and preservatives, and transported then long distances around the world (if women only knew!!!!). Luonkos ladies decided that there needs to be a better way and they took up the challenge!

Oil cleansing cakes were launched at ‘I love me’ -fair in October 2018 and they were an immediate success –  women really love them as they clean the skin, remove make-up, balance, and in many ways, heal the skin.

The facial cakes are everyday luxury skincare products that are 100% ecological, vegan, water-free, preservative-free, 100% natural, and they contain only high quality natural plant-based ingredients. The cakes are produced ethically in Finland, with no animal testing and with very low carbon and water footprint. The packaging is biodegradable, recyclable, and plastic-free. You can use the product to the very end and then recycle the package.

Body cakes and other products were launched in 2019 and 2020. There is ongoing research and product development process at Luonkos to bring new innovative leading-edge products to the market. Handmade with love, from Naantali, the second happiest city in the whole world.
